All donations are tax exempted under Sec 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

Donation Refund Policy

OneVision Trust (hereinafter referred to as “OVT”) has instituted a donation refund policy to ensure fair and transparent processing of requests for refund of donations as digital payments are becoming more frequent. OVT expects all donors to exercise due care and diligence while making donations. OVT also recognizes that a donation may be made erroneously or donors may change their mind. OVT shall examine requests for refund of donation and shall make an endeavour to make the refund on a case to case basis. OVT may also seek proper explanation and reasons from the donor for such refund. It is further clarified that such refund, may require further verification of the donor and OVT may require documents of proof and of the donation made by the donor.

It is made clear that OVT is not obliged to make refunds and may, at its discretion, decline any requests for refund of donations, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued.

If you would like your donation to be refunded, you must request OVT in writing or by email for a refund at the following address: –

Your refund request must contain details such as Date of Donation, Amount of Donation, Mode of Donation i.e. Credit Card or Online Payment and should reach OVT office within 7 (Seven) days from the date on which you made the donation i.e.:
The date on which you Made the donation online, electronically or through other means, OR
The date on which you Handed over the cheque / demand draft to OVT or someone authorised by OVT for this purpose, OR
The date on which you Despatched the cheque / demand draft to OVT by other means.

The refund process may take time of 7 to 15 working days depending on the availability of the information from third parties such as Payment Gateway, Banks, etc. through which the transaction is done.
